Abbotsford

Poplar Bar Park

Burnaby

Barnet Marine Park is open with restrictions. The west entrance, west parking lot and west washroom are open. The east entrance and parking lot and playground are closed.

Ladner

Ferry Road, north end, at the boat launch

Sharkey’s for a dock launch

Wellington Point Park boat launch

Langley

Brae Island Park

Derby Reach Park

Marina Park in Fort Langley

Maple Ridge

Alouette lake

Mission

Hayward Lake

Stave Lake: BC Hydro boat launch and the Kearsley Creek Campground

Pitt Meadows

Grant Narrows boat launch

Port Moody

Bottom of First Avenue at the waterfront. To get there, drive along Ioco Road in Port Moody until you reach a 4-way stop at First Avenue. Small church is at the corner.  Turn left and over railway track. Angle park in gravel shoulder. Enough room for at least 6 vehicles. Big advantage of this location is a very short carry.

Rocky Point. Boat launch passes are not required for kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards. Watercraft can be dropped off at the sidewalk along the west side of the Boathouse restaurant at Esplanade and carried to the boat launch. There is 15 minute parking along Esplanade for this purpose.

Richmond

The old boat launch on Dyke Road between #2 Rd and Gilbert Rd.

Annacis Island: The south west end of the island, behind the warehouses on Derwent Way. Google to determine how to access.  Small sand beaches, may disappear at really high tides.

South Surrey

Target street in Crescent Beach and Elgin Park are open.

Blackie Spit is open but signage indicates no organized or group activities are allowed. So, people who live together arriving in one car would probably be okay, but arriving in a bunch of separate cars probably constitutes a group.

Vancouver

Vanier parking lot by the boat launch is closed, but there is parking in front of Burrard Marine. This gives access to both False Creek and English Bay paddles.

Locarno Beach has fairly good access to the water and a washroom nearby.  Depending upon the time of day, there may not be many parking spaces available at this location.

Spanish Banks: There is a small unpaved lot off NW Marine drive just west of the west end of Spanish Banks (part way up the hill to UBC). Depending upon the time of day, there may not be many parking spaces available at this location.
